Apple crumble pie and chinese spinach soup

Vegetarian, Bento, Cuisine, Recipes, Zoé

Dinner
-Chinese spinach and tofu soup
-Steamed Jerusalem artichokes
-Steamed carrots
-Sauercraut with mushrooms
-Apple crumble pie

I quickly pop in to show you a quickly baked tart. As things go so quickly, I’m not really creative in my kitchen so I stick to the basics. Bear took care of the sauercraut while I took care of the pie, the soup and my mummie’s home grown vegetables. I’m just trying to do quick and tasty meals that would make me happy to be alive and leave me time to share some quality time with Bear. I hope that you can find some ways to share at least half an hour a day with your loved ones.

Zoe’s in a hurry

Vegetarian, Bento, Cuisine, Recipes, Zoé

Bento
-Spinach and mushroom
-Rice
-Cucumber
-Carrot notes
-Banana
-Yoghurt
-Pea and mint purée in Duchesse

I really don’t have much time, it’s too bad. I will need to reorganise things so that I have a little more time for anything else which isn’t work. Well, here is a leftover bento with not much new in it. Except maybe that it is the first that I show this bento. I’m not really fond of it, to say true, it leeks, it’s not even airtight and I don’t really manage to play much with it. It looked pretty on the net, and once more I listened to the mermaids’ consumer song. I’m not really proud of myself.

Vegan chocolate rice pie

Vegetarian, Bento, Cuisine, Recipes, Zoé

Tea time treat
-Vegan chocolate rice pie
-Iced tea
-Orange juice
-Squashed banana with a pinch of cinnamon

Lately I’m a little overwhelmed, so I’m a little away from the net and this blog. I’m really sorry, will you forgive me? Though I was really busy, I did find time for a little winter vegan treat: chocolate rice pie. A real pleasure that rarely lasts long here, though Bear hasn’t really a sweet tooth, he can’t resist to eat one more serving.

Bento
-Mini tomatoes
-Cucumber
-Maize (pickle)
-Mushroom
-White and green beans
-Radishes
-Arugola
-Sandwiches made of onion flavoured bread with black tapenade and mushrooms

Yesterday, I forgot to give you the recipe of my onion flavoured bread. So, it’s a good thing that I show you such a simple bento. Nothing really fancy, just a few veggies, a little sandwich with homemade bread and tapenade. Just enough to make my day and make me forget that I’m totally owerwhelmed with my work!

Pattypan squash soup

Vegetarian, Bento, Cuisine, Recipes, Zoé

Dinner
-Pattypan squash soup with fried seitan balls
-Onion flavoured bread

Hi! It has been a while! I’m really sorry about it, I’ve been working so hard lately: at work at 7h30 and Bear tries to make me stop before 23! Well, this week-end I had a little time to treat Bear and thank him for the last few weeks, when he did all the cooking. So I think that a little soup with some fried seitan balls, and homemade onion flavoured bread slices would do the trick. Oh, and I do have to thank Kahte from the Vegeweb forum for the idea of fried seitan. It was really great. It’s nice to get near some pans and have a little time for cooking.
