Red beans and olive pie, tomato and pea pie

Vegetarian, Bento, Cuisine, Recipes, Zoé

Dinner
Tomato and pea pie
Red beans and olive pie
-Lettuce
Ginger beer

Maybe you don’t know how I usually do, I try a new idea, I take a photo and note down the recipe. If I like it, I’ll try it two more times before publishing. If not, either I’ll dump the idea, either I’ll note the modifications I’d need to do and then give it another shot. When satisfying I’ll try it twice more to confirm the recipe. And I’ll try to choose the prettiest photo.
This explains why you only have now this incredible red bean pie which is featured with our everyday summer tomato and pea pie.
Bear is totally fond of this pie. And with a little glass of homemade ginger beer we managed to do of this evening a little feast.

Vegan little hearts

Vegetarian, Bento, Cuisine, Recipes, Zoé

Biscuit box:
Box full of vegan little biscuits glazed with lemony sugar

Many make such a fuss about Valentine’s day. Here we don’t do much, especially when we are both ill and doing our best to hold on. (And maybe also because we think that we should be sweet and respectful one to each other on a everyday basis, not once a year). But I thought that a box full of vegan hearts biscuits would mark the day.

Porridge for wintery days

Vegetarian, Bento, Cuisine, Recipes, Zoé

Breakfast
Apple and cinnamon flavoured porridge
-Hot beverage made from soya milk and chocolate

Winter, grey and cold days, icy wind and snowy mountains. What can one dream of on such days? The little ogre in me longs for a basic savoury and fulfilling porridge. Here it’s the apple and cinnamon version. But I can also go for any other variation with cranberries, sultanas, bananas, pear or even chocolate.
