Bento content:
–Vegetarian sushi with vinegar prune and carrot
–Raw courgette spaghetti with sunflower sauce
-Carrot sticks
-Nectarine
I wanted to use my not air nor liquid tight wooden bento. Therefore I had to find things which would be dry enough and wouldn’t leek. So one raw recipe for the top layer with courgette spaghettis and a sunflower miso sauce to spice them up.
I tried to do some vinegar prune (I have no idea how the original Japanese should taste, I’m not staying here long enough to properly make these pickles) to stuff the sushis. A few nectarine slices completed the meal. Because of the fruit I had to wrap the bento with cling film.

Nice bento. I haven’t tried wooden bentos for the moment but always find them so chic!

They are pretty, but so unpratical. You’d better use them at home than on the go: not air tight don’t speak only of water tight! I believe you can have one of these to show of from time to time on your blog…but for true life, it’s not the best.

En bien zut alors… j’allais dire la mm chose que Fossettes..parce qu’elle est vraiment tres belle cete petite boite !! Dommage qu’elle soit pas pratique…mais bon ca n’empeche que ton petit bento wooden à l’air qd mm tres bon!! : )

Merci beaucoup pour tes commentaires, cela fait si plaisir. J’étais assez déçue quand j’ai vu que la boîte ferme mal, et qu’il ne faut pas espérer y caser des fruits un peu juteux. Mais, je suis d’accord elle est mignonne tout plein, mais rapport pratique/prix (par rapport à celles en métal ou les lock and lock ou bentos plastiques ordinaires) je suis assez déçue. Je ne pense pas qu’on puisse remplir son armoire de ce type de bento. Du moins pas si on compte les utiliser sur une base quotidienne!

this sounds like a spaghetti recipe i can definitely try. i love the taste of miso… never thought about eating it with pasta! yum!
